This would be our final activity day and 8 of us opted for the scheduled bike ride. The ride was similar to the one we did yesterday with a different return route.
Happy riders at the start line ;’)

Those of us back home who bike with Susan chide her about all the gear she carries in her big panniers or buckets. But … whenever any one needs something, surely Susan has it, and we are thankful for all that gear. We have each benefitted in some way, and don’t chide her anymore ;’).
Very soon after beginning our ride this morning, Susan had the tool that would re-attach JoAnn’s pedal that had fallen onto the road.

We rode along that bridge across the lake and took our time to appreciate the views.

And whadda ya know, Susan to the rescue again for Karen to adjust her wayward saddle. Susan was the only one of us all who had tools to fix what needed fixing. And now others know the benefit of Susan carrying all that gear!!!

Now we were ready for our group photo at the halfway point of the ride. We are all still smiling, and happy.

Welcome…The International Selkirk Bike Route travels along this bikeway.

As the eight of us were pedaling, and having ice cream, others were relaxing, having time at the beach , or doing crafts led by Jeannie.

This, our last night of our campout at “Lazy Days in Sandpoint”, we went out to dinner at Trinity Restaurant at the Marina in City Park.
Our group picture taken yesterday will be a reminder of who all was here and the fun we had.

Back at the campground we started our farewells, and “see you down the road”. Always bittersweet moments when we say goodbye to new friends, and we all hope that some of us will reconnect at another outing. There were at least six of us, of 17 Sisters here, that have met at a past SOTF outing, so our chances are fairly good that we will meet some again at a future outing.
