3/3 LAST DAY AT ELK KAMP

All of us will be checking out tomorrow morning and saying our sweet farewells. But we had today to cram in what ever we chose to do. In the morning we had a “trailer crawl” and visited many of the sisters’ rigs.

Too many to take photos of, but Cari’s was near us and quite interesting for such a small rig. It held way more things that appearances would suggest.

Cari had a little yard set up for her and her dog Rainy, and a little coffee/tea area as well.

When we got to Corrine’s trailer I was so taken with the table setting and croissants she offered, I forgot to get a photo of the trailer!

After strolling through the campground and visiting each other, it was time for our bike ride. Susan and I gathered the four others who wanted to ride and took off for our ride on the trail. Fortunately the trail was much better than I remembered it from four years ago. It is actually paved, and this year it is not wet and covered in moss.

Starting out with smiles.

Getting to our turn around point and still smiling. Louise, Susan, Becky, Nese, Ally (I am behind the camera).

Gathering for one of the climbs along the trail.

Each rider on her bike along the trail.

Susan added this one that she had taken of me on the trail.

Louise sent these of me and Susan, proving that I was indeed on an unpaved trail 🤨. For at least part way anyhow!

We met the challenge of getting past the locked gate. We could not ride around it. We could not go over it. We found our way. Sisters helping sisters is what it is all about. We each and all had a blast for our riding day.

Potluck dinner was our final activity. Afterward there was another rounds game, and you can see by “Mister”, who has his own chair, how the pet’s are treated by the sisters ;’-).

We will be breaking down camp in the morning and our little home in the park will be moving on. It has been a great event and a fine time.
