It is today, the official start of Autumn. I will thank September for holding our days so sunny and mild that I could be eased into releasing my grip on summer.
Another beautiful day meant another opportunity for a beautiful ride ;’-). I had several clues about this Autumn thing arriving.

3. There was a real nip in the air as I started my ride this morning at 10:00. Sunny and nippy!

Within the first hour of my ride, the morning nip warmed up well enough for me to change into my lighter jacket. This has been the best September for riding that I can remember. We usually have many fall days that are good, but so many, and in a row, have been a true delight. So, ok Autumn — welcome to my world, and I will continue to relish every one of these beautiful fall days and wring every drop of sun by the mile that is possible. I know what season is right behind you 🙄.
