Pedaling

I did one more thing before we left our friends in Sequim…

…I pedaled outdoors! YAY me. Jan, on her upright bike, rode along with me, on Char’s recumbent trike, along a short piece of the Olympic Discovery Trial. Four miles does not seem like much of anything, but it was great for me to be pedaling out in the open air. Jan offered to lengthen the boom for the pedals but I felt I would not need to do that for such a short trip and I was fine as it was.

No pain during or after the ride indicates that I am ready!! A day or two after we get home this week I plan to give a try to some upright pedaling, so stay tuned.
