Back in March I posted a bit about our cold month and the very few opportunities I had for riding at the beginning of that month. It did stay cold and a bit drippy through the month, but I did get out on some days.
A ride with a few of the Rainbow Riders to visit my third Dambo Troll ;’-), this one in West Seattle near the ferry to Vashon.

Biking along the Alki Trail to get to the Troll, we get a view of downtown Seattle.

On to the next adventure.
Susan and I have the Grandboys signed up for a mountain bike class to be held in July. We decided to take some time this month to scout out where we could camp (Tall Chief) and take a look at the ares. With all the recent bear news of attacks and their presence everywhere, we came equipped with bear spray!

Then we went on for our bike adventure to Fall City.

You may recall that I did say Susan finds it impossible to pass up something for sale. She went off trail a bit and fortunately did not buy this item. (Sarah will be glad to know that I saved her from being a recipient of said item.)

Here, I waited…

Susan remains on guard for any bear…

Moving on along the trail, we find some old farm equipment.

To get into the town of Fall City, along a very nice road, we had to once again over come a barrier.

Susan to the rescue again.

Getting into town we were greeted with a place to have lunch.

It sounded so quaint and cozy when we were told we could put our bikes over by the gazebo.

They didn’t say it was an old, closed down, dilapidated kiosk building. Gazebo was misnomer.
OKAY gang, I am as caught up as I am going to be to our current times. I will do better at keeping up with things and posting in a more timely manner. Thanks for reading and following along with our adventures.
Good to get news from you!
