In mid-April we attended (again) an event mainly for Susan. SOTF event: 52U, according to Susan was a successful course in maintaining your RV/camping vehicle. It was a three day, all day, course that I did not attend. Susan is more into and more capable of doing those things than I. While she attended those classes, I took bike rides ;’).
Camping was at the Sportsmens club where the sport was guns – rifle, pistol, skeet – and shooting was sometimes loud when you were in camp, camped in the field.

Our original campsite was tucked into one of the few tree lined sites that we thought we would really like. BUT .. the electrical hook up was not working here so we got moved to the field.

Initially we were disappointed about the move into a wide open field, but once we met the others in what I began calling our “commune”, we really liked it a lot. I have no photos of that spot but it was so enjoyable to share space with: Terry, Sharon and Rose.
Right from the git go on my first ride out of camp I came upon these treasures.

One came walking to me expecting I might have something for him. I was sad to have nothing to offer, but he let me pet him.

Once out of the camping area, I followed the back roads to see what I could see. Not much, but it was a very pleasant ride.

On another day I changed course and rode in the other direction to the town of Littlerock. Here I picked up a bottle of Starbucks coffee to bring back to Susan, being the thoughtful partner that I am ;’). And found a few items to take photos of.

I enjoyed my bike wandering and Susan enjoyed her 52U course, so this was a good success.
One more thing for April was last weekend at Belfair State Park for another SOTF event.
Weather cooperated somewhat as in the rain came when we were not planning an activity! The rain came and went for most of the outing, but we were not deterred from having fun.
We biked around the campground and to the beach,

We hiked along the wetlands trail.

We socialized, ate, chatted and laughed. And had a rainbow.

Now I am getting closer to being updated to current times, but will do one more for March… coming up next.
Nice, Nancy. Looks like you are having fun!
Weather looks good
Love, bill
