3) BREAKFAST AT TIFFANYS

I explained the Freezin’ Geezers part. Now we will have Breakfast at Tiffanys. Staying at Tiffanys Resort, how could be not!

The only requirement: Diamonds or Pearls and a Hat!

What fun it was and what a gaggle of gals that showed up in their diamonds and pearls.

Here we all are — having more fun than anyone ;’-).

Having arrived a day early, and needing to be home in preparation to get Kate from the airport we left the event a day early. So we missed the “Trick or Drink” in costumes part of the frivolity, and carving pumpkins. From the photos we saw, they had more fun — than anyone.

After some down time, freshening up time, walking around time, we regathered to watch the movie — Breakfast at Tiffany’s. It has been a lifetime ago since I had seen this movie and it must apply to younger years and younger hearts and less awareness of right and wrong!!! A bit of racism (Japanese character with buck teeth, high eyebrows as depicted during the war years), some sexism (a man must take care of a woman because she cannot take care of herself), rolls of men and women (it is ok for the man to be a womanizer, but a woman searching for the right man is a loser who cannot take care of herself).

Well, that was a rant! We all did enjoy watching the movie but at this stage in life, I cannot understand it being the blockbuster that it was.
