This is always fun and a great motivator at the ‘rough’ time of year. Rough to sometimes get out there when it is no longer summer! I did my training ride while at Sarah’s in Elk Grove CA, with my English Breakfast tea and blueberry scone at Rescate coffee shop.

Now … LET THE GAMES BEGIN!

Thanks for the link, Nancy! I am getting myself mentally ready for the challenge! I think the challenge over on Cycle365 several years ago with Kathleen was when I got back into cycle touring. Yay!

I am so happy that you will be joining me on this “challenge”. The only thing that would make that better would be meeting up in person for a cuppa! Just got home from CA and riding 5 of the 6 days there in sun and warmth. Home with some sun now, but motivation and oompahpah are lagging. Will take a rest today after starting travel at 4:00 am by car-plane-train-bus-feet ;’-).
