The wind, the heavy wind, seemed to blow us into town. We drove through Chelan to Wapato Lake where the Sisters would be holding this camping outing. And there we were — camped right on the lake.

Susan was sure to get at least one van photo in the early evening as the sky began to change its color.

She, but not I, was up and outside much later into dark time, and got to see Jupiter. She knows it is Jupiter because she researched on Google 😉.

Some had arrived yesterday and several were on a short bike ride to lunch when we got to camp on this afternoon. Many others, including us, arrived on the “official” start date of today (Tuesday). We all found our spot, got hooked up, set up, and settled in before our Meet ‘n Greet gathering at the beach.

After our potluck dinner (oh so much food!) and a rousing game of “one truth and one lie” (Susan won the prize for most entertaining), we said our good nights and trundled off to our little campsites for the night.
The next day — well I suppose I will post that on the next day 😉.
you left something out!!! Susan’s One truth and one lie!!! 😃

Well, that is a little hard and wordy to explain. Succinctly, it was about a bear and a bare: one was about chasing a bear away from the tent she and her sister were sleeping in as youngsters; the other was about a time she lifted the skirt she was wearing at camp to easily pee thus showing a bear ass (the lie).
